The WellyBin Company Rental Agreement

& Terms of Service

By purchasing, using, and/or accessing The WellyBin Company services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Definitions

“Renter”, “You”, and “Your” refers to the customer using our services.

“The WellyBin Co.”, “Company”, “We”, “Us”, and “Our” refers to The WellyBin Company and its owners, employees, and representatives.

“Services” refers to all offerings including bin rentals, delivery, and pick-up.

“Equipment” refers to all rental items including bins, dollies, and accessories.

“Rental Period” refers to the time outlined on your invoice.

2. Overview of Services

We rent moving bins and related equipment. We deliver to your current address and pick up from your destination.

We DO NOT assist with packing or moving.

All equipment remains the property of The WellyBin Co.

3. Rental Period

• Minimum rental period: 14 days

• Shorter use is still charged as 14 days

• Extensions are subject to availability and additional fees

4. Service Area

We service Wellington County and surrounding areas. Service outside our core area may be available at our discretion and may include additional fees.

5. Booking & Reservations

• Minimum order: 20 bins (unless otherwise agreed upon)

• Booking requests are requests, not guarantees

• Bookings are confirmed only after availability is verified

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full within 24 hours of booking request.

E-Transfer

• Order held for 24 hours

• Order is cancelled if not received within that time

Credit Card

• Processed securely via Stripe

• Pre-authorization may be used until confirmation

All fees are final and non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

7. Changes to Orders

Changes must be requested as soon as possible.

• Date changes (same duration): no fee (subject to availability)

• Extensions: charged at daily rate

• Additional equipment: subject to availability and possible delivery fee

8. Cancellation Policy

• Renter shall provide notice of cancellation 72+ hours before delivery to qualify for a full refund

• When less than 72 hours notice is given, a credit minus a 5% admin fee will be provided

• If WellyBin is notified after delivery of cancellation or need for rescheduling- no refund or credit will be provided.

9. Delivery

• Charged at $1.50/km rate

• Additional fees may apply if outside area

• 2-4 hour delivery windows provided

• We may adjust timing due to unforeseen circumstances

10. Pick-Up

• Charged at $1.50/km rate

• Same conditions as delivery

• 2-4 hour pick up window will be provided

• Failure to be available for us to pickup will result in fees-see below

11. Missed Pick-Up / Refused Entry

If we cannot retrieve equipment:

• Double daily rental rate charged

• Additional travel fees apply

• After 14 days, full replacement charges apply

12. Equipment Condition

• Equipment is delivered clean and ready to use

• Renter must report issues within 2 hours of delivery, otherwise the bins are deemed accepted

13. Damage Deposit

• $250 (unless otherwise agreed upon) etransfer or pre-authorization required 

• Charges may exceed deposit if necessary

• Damage Deposit will  be refunded within 24 hours of us receiving the equipment back

14. Cleaning Fees

• Standard cleaning included

• Excess dirt/pet hair: $2 per piece of equipment

15. Replacement Fees

• $125 per bin

• $150 per dolly

Do not use tape, markers, or unauthorized labels on bins.

16. Use of Equipment

• Max stack: 4 bins

• Each bin weighs approximately 7.5 lbs empty 

• Max weight each bin may hold: 66 lbs per bin

• Keep indoors away from public access

• No children, persons or animals in or on bins at any time

17. Liability Waiver

Use of equipment carries risk. You assume all responsibility.

We are not liable for:

• Injury or death

• Property damage

• Indirect or consequential damages

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold The WellyBin Co. harmless from all claims related to use of services.

19. Termination

We may terminate service at any time.

We reserve the right to retrieve equipment and charge all associated costs if terms are violated.

20. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure due to events beyond our control.

21. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

22. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of services means acceptance of updates.

By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
